Mixing silk and linen for an adventurer's royal ensemble
Embroidered red silk bodice; cotton chemise; yellow linen knickers; faux leather split skirt; bumroll; embroidered belt.
Initial design
Linen knickers & boned bodice lining
Knickers were squeezed out of 1yd of linen; partially boned bodice lining awaiting finishing
Main bodice fabric & embroidery
84 woven stars; I took advantage of the existing embroidery on the fabric and sewed overtop.

I was commissioned to make a second version of this costume in a plus size, as well!
