First Age Galadriel
(January 2016)
Designed in a fit of pique, after the third Hobbit movie failed to show her in any sort of armor.
White jersey undertunic with silver satin collar; pale blue taffeta split skirt with beaded edges and a taffeta circle shawl, beaded and lined with lace; Worbla armor, including a breastplate, belt (with embroidered and beaded hanging sash), and forehead protector that all lace in back and are painted and decorated with original sigils.

Initial design
The final costume turned out very closely! I did change how the armor was put on, though.

Undertunic, silver satin collar.

Back; split skirt

Foam armor base & unhemmed capelet

Beading on split skirt

Base garments all together

Completed belt
The hanging piece velcroes on to the back of the 'armor' part

Fabric covered vinyl sheath & straps
Rigged it up to hang off of the corset lacing

Thermoplastic over the foam base
